Plus, darker grout actually helps to hide daily kitchen grime. To further emphasize on the contrast, we trimmed the updated and large window in black, making it a focal point for the space. A beautiful large wood hood was installed, and the Mrs. finally got the apron front sink she had always wanted. Furthermore, all new appliances were installed as well as the addition of a beverage center in the island. To tie the space together, we installed all new flooring throughout the first floor for continuity. And maybe most important, we made sure to include seating on the back of the island (essential with three children) for snacking, homework time, or any family gathering!
