Even more of the perks of the new cabinetry included an apron sink with a tall neck faucet, wastebasket and recycling storage, increased deeper drawer storage, corner super Susan rotating shelves, and glass doors for display space. We flip-flopped the refrigerator and the range so that the oven and wood hood would become the new focal point. The kitchen island was painted as an accent piece, and it was extended to add seating off the backside. Lastly, new lighting fixtures were added to make each space more defined and intimate.
